You may experience some soreness in your arm...
After my walk yesterday I met @Beverly Solow
in Isham Park and we went to a local Rite-Aid together. It's been two weeks since we got our COVID-19 boosters and we were ready to get other shots. Bev, who'd gotten her pneumonia vaccine at her doctor's, only needed a flu shot. I got both the flu and the pneumonia shot, one on top of another. They warned me that I might experience soreness in my arm for a day or two, a common side effect.
It was, um, a little more severe than I'd anticipated. By bedtime yesterday my arm hurt so much that any little movement, any pressure, made me feel as if my arm was going to fall off. I ended up not being able to sleep last night only managing to get a few hours napping in a reclining chair this morning, from sheer exhaustion. Tylenol helped some (I can't take NSAIDs) but only
some and only
No pain, no gain -- I understand... but this has been a LOT of pain!
