Just say no. Alternatives to this nonsense exist. I am posting this to a self-hosted social media platform with world-wide reach.
I am in the process of (or investigating) setting up open-source, non-commercial , user-governed, user-maintained alternatives to Google Drive, Instagram, YouTube, WeChat, Slack, Zoom, etc. which are free of advertising, algorithms, surveillance, and a bunch of other bad stuff.
