Since I anticipate inviting a bunch of older, non-technical people to join my instance of
Hubzilla (
hub.ourcommoncloud.social) I am on the lookout for easy-to-understand explanations of what
Hubzilla is, why it is to be preferred to commercial offerings and how to use it. @
The Lazy Teddy seem s to have undertaken such a project several years ago -- there are posts, articles and wikis addressing several aspects of
Hubzilla dating from then -- but either she/they felt they were finished or their effort languished after awhile.
That's a shame. I would have liked to see more aspects of
Hubzilla adressed. As it is, I guess I'll have to
little-red-hen the project of more extensive non-technical introductions (although I'll be more generous about sharing them than the LRH was about sharing her bread)
BTW, since my wife is one of the first people I intend to sign up, this:

is a welcome departure from the rampant boys-club atmosphere that seems to prevail in the
Hubzillaverse.
Anyway, here's an example of the sort of thing (and, I might add, the sort of
